Career Day Friday

In order to show our students all of the opportunities that are available to them, our PTO has organized Career Day Fridays for them. A couple of Fridays each month, different speakers come to share with our students. The speakers describe their occupations and also explain the education and training needed in order to go into their fields.

This morning, Zane's dad came to speak to our class. He is an electrical supervisor of an oil rig. He supervises men from all over the world on his rig. He prepared a video with pictures from his job that the students loved.
Here is our class with Mr. Mitchell.

We also listened to a deputy sheriff. The students were mostly interested in his weapons and how many "bad guys" he had captured.

Finally, we ended our morning by listening to a speech therapist.
