Lesson 17 Vocabulary Words

Drowsy-When you are drowsy, you feel sleepy.

Burden-If you are carrying a burden, you are carrying something heavy.

Console-When you console someone, you try to cheer him/her up or comfort him/her.

Scolding-If you are scolding someone, you are angrily pointing out that person's mistakes.

Awe-When you are in awe of something, you are amazed by it.

Chemicals

We started a new unit on chemicals this week.  The students love it!  So far, we have mainly discussed the physical properties of chemicals and safety when doing experiments.  Yesterday, we  made a "mystery goo" and discussed its physical properties.  We will do some experiments on this goo to determine what chemicals it contains.
