As a reward for reaching their reading goals this nine weeks, students had a painting party this morning. The boys painted reindeer, and the girls painted Christmas trees.
FINALLY! Our blog is working again! I am sorry for the break, but there were a lot of issues. Anyway, the students are so excited because they get to open their presents tomorrow!
We have started working on multiplication, and your children are doing a FABULOUS job! They are learning several different ways to solve problems. On Friday, we made arrays to figure out multiplication problems. Students make arrays by using tiles in rows. For example, 5x3 means five rows with three tiles in each row.
We kicked off Red Ribbon Week yesterday by all wearing RED! Our class pledged to stay drug free, and we even wrote our pledges on ribbons that we put in the ground in front of the school. Students are also wearing red bracelets all week.
